Dear Parents,

The Children's Ministry at The Solid Rock of Atlanta recognizes and cherishes each child as a gift from the Lord.  It is our desire that every child enter into an intimate love relationship with the Lord and go forth as a light unto their generation, confident and established in their heart, and knowing who they are in Christ Jesus.  The passion of our teachers is to root and ground each child in the love and grace of God.  We believe that as children understand how much their Heavenly Daddy's loves and values them, independent of their right or wrong choices, they will know their true identity in Christ.  Subsequently, they will avoid many of the pitfalls children typically encounter in this world, such as condemnation, rejection, and insecurity.  We also believe that as children understand their birthright, as Kingdom Kids and Heirs of God, they will take off and be propelled towards their God-ordained destiny.

Kingdom Kids serves children age three through Kindergarten, while HeirBorne ministers to children in the first grade through the fifth grade.  Each week a guest speaker ministers the love and grace of God from their heart to the children within the parameters of the theme of the month.  Below you will find monthly themes of 2010.  Our teachers prepare fun and interactive activities in order to reinforce Sunday's lesson, as well as to encourage the children to hide God's Word in their hearts.
