Hello,

THE SOLID ROCK OF ATLANTA…ROCKS!  It’s foundation is surely built upon the solid rock and the gates of hell will not prevail against it!  Glory be to GOD!

The first thing I noticed when I visited The Solid Rock Of Atlanta a couple months ago is the love I felt.  There is a tangible presence of the love of God, an agape love that permeates the atmosphere.  This is about the Father’s heart, the love of God abiding, dwelling with His people.  I felt this right when I walked in the front door the first time I visited before I even knew you had a time of fellowship called hug-time during every service. (LOL)

Also when I think of The Solid Rock of Atlanta  Psalms 133 comes to mind.  Psalms 133.  1 How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!  2 It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes.  3 It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion.  For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.

All of you are such a blessing.  Pastors Van and Regina truly have the heart of the Father.  You are so loved and appreciated.  Javan, thank you for having such a sweet spirit and taking us into the presence of the Lord during praise and worship.  Your heart is true, pure and lovely.  Keep stepping out in boldness.  You are a blessing to the body of Christ.

To God be all the glory.

In His Love.

Felichia Aryeetey: Thanks to Van and Regina

Thanks to Van and Regina for your selflessness. I am so very grateful to see this message being shared in the Atlanta area. Also, a very special thanks to the Jays for extending themselves the entire time we were there.

When I heard that you were already outgrowing your church my spirit leaped because God had just shown me a picture of a sort of flow chart. I saw a circular chart with the words Emmanuel, Atlanta, Growth and an overflowing harvest of fruit.

I was also very inspired to see the fire exploding from you while you encouraged the families to join with you in giving and partnering with AWMI. While you were speaking I was encouraged to give what was left in my pocket. It was a small amount but, if I know God I prayed over it that God would multiply this seed to me and to you as well.

Well, I returned home Sunday night and started unpacking and that's when it started. Now it is Friday of the same week, and I have already found in another jacket pocket more than twice what I would have sown in the service, received an increase in my paycheck from Fed taxes decreasing, more cash for my birthday, unexpected cash for carpooling, and child support monies I had prayed for a while ago.

I will be sowing another seed from this harvest to AWMI and the family at The Solid Rock of Atlanta and expecting God to continue multiplying.

Praises to the God who provides seed and multiplies it as well! There is no one like Him!

Love,

Felichia

Rose Seaman: Lighthouse Meeting - YES!

I am an excited, turned-around and committed participant in the impacting, explosive and dynamic Lighthouse Ministry of The Solid Rock of Atlanta. The celebration is on! The celebration of the FINISHED WORK of The LORD JESUS!

It is so much fun to see our lives being touched and transformed through the interactions directed by The HOLY SPIRIT. I have been involved in only three meetings to date. Each one has been unique, more fulfilling and always uplifting. Lives are being restored as each lesson ministers to us all in our individual life experiences, with GOD'S LOVE AND GRACE. In our midst The HOLY SPIRIT creates an absolutely awe-inspiring atmosphere of love, joy, peace, understanding, acceptance, intimacy and safety. I love the expectancy present as we prepare to talk about the lesson based on GOD'S WORD, and then see applications of these truths in our daily lives.

The outflow of GOD'S LOVE AND GRACE at our Lighthouse gatherings is the overflow from what we experience every Sunday at The Solid Rock. Thank GOD for Pastors Van and Regina who proclaim The GOOD NEWS OF GOD'S KINGDOM without compromise, and inspire us all by their lives of example.

I believe the beacons of our Lighthouses are strategically placed to beckon both the "churched" and "unchurched" into a life-transforming connectedness with "THE ROCK" OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!!!

If you are not a part of a Lighthouse group, what are you waiting for? Come join The Celebration!

Family Akumadu: A Place Where All The Benefits Of The Fi...

We thank You Abba Father, God The Father , our Saviour and Brother, Jesus Christ, God, The Son and Our Best Friend, and our "GPS", God, The Holy Spirit. Psalm 103:1-5 has become reality to us here at The solid Rock of Atlanta

Psalm 103

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

We thank this local Body of Christ for being like Jesus to us, and we've experienced completeness in Christ. The Rock on which we stand is indeed solid; The Solid Rock. Amen!! And because God first loved us with His infinite LOVE; our beloved Pastor Van, Pastor Regina and Pastor Javan Smith love each and everyone wholeheartedly. To the One True God; We love You so much. Amen and Amen.

His Love through Us to You,

Family Akumadu

Rita Mayell: Blessed

It was wonderful to be in the house of the Lord this morning. I have never been so "hugged" in all of my life and it was sincere. I appreciate the genuine spirit of each person and for the first time in years I knew I was with the "body" of Christ. In other words I could not tell you anything about who was there other than it was one. We were one. Just like the Word says: there is neither male or female, Jew, Greek etc. We truly are one. I called all of my friends before I drove home because I was so excited to finally be in a place where the truth of His word was taught and modeled. It was not about "articulate words of wisdom" but in power and demonstration. Even in the first hug you knew first hand the love of God. WOW...

I am bringing my friends...

Jennifer Constantine: Stopping by to give everyone a big hug!

Since I have met the people at The Solid Rock of Atlanta, for the first time in my life I can understand how Paul felt when he mentioned certain churches that he was continually thankful for.

I just wanted to say how I think of you all often. We don't get to talk or visit as much I as would like with life being so busy. But, I am truly thankful that the blood of Jesus makes us family and I know that I am loved at The Solid Rock of Atlanta unconditionally!

Denise Freeman: I thank God for The Solid Rock

My husband and I had been attending separate churches for over 9 years. I was attending a church full of legalism, where works were encouraged and admired. My husband, Steve and I started "church shopping" when I decided to let go of the warped idea that the more I did for God, the more He would do for me, but only if I was good and righteous enough! Before leaving this church, I was fortunate to have been introduced to a bright, spirit-filled sister, Moira French. We were introduced by a mutual friend that had read Moira's life story, which she passed on to me. After reading it, I could not wait to meet her. There was power in Moira's life and I wanted to find out more. Moira has been under the teaching of Andrew Wommack for a few years. She introduced me to Andrew's teaching, and I knew that this new way of looking at life, and my relationship with God was the truth. My husband and I started watching The Gospel Truth every morning at 6 A.M. We devoted more time to realizing who we are in Christ, and less time in listening to the lies of Satan. Once we started to hear the truth about the new covenant, for almost two years we basically stopped going to church. Moira was attending the Gospel Truth Seminar this past spring; Andrew Wommack introduced Van and Regina Smith to the crowd; I am so glad he did! That next week, we all drove to the church together. During hug time, I found it difficult to stop the flow of tears. I knew that I had finally found a place where my family and I could worship in spirit and in truth!

The Solid Rock of Atlanta and Pastors Van and Regina Smith, along with their son, Javan, and Theresa Pruett, a great friend and minister in the church, have welcomed us so warmly. What a difference it makes to be taught the message of Jesus' love, mercy and grace! How awesome it is to hear about the unconditional love of our Lord! What an incredible message! What a way to live! God is so good!

I thank God for The Solid Rock of Atlanta every day!

Malika King: Unconditional Love

The Solid Rock of Atlanta really believes in demonstrating the love and acceptance of God. This ministry continually enhances my understanding of how much God loves me, and who I am in Christ. I'm hoping that we have another marriage conference soon; it was such a blessing to my marriage. At the Solid Rock of Atlanta, we see no color lines, we see no past mistakes, we only choose to see Jesus Christ and Him crucified in You.
